Each day, Baruch donors fuel the extraordinary, from scholarships and student enrichment programs to faculty support and research opportunities. Is it any wonder that we’re filled with immense gratitude?
On April 20, the Baruch community celebrated Paws and Give Thanks Day to recognize YOU, our generous supporters. More than 500 students wrote thank-you cards, recorded video messages, and took photos for our donors, while our volunteers connected with those participants about the impact of philanthropy.
To show our gratitude, we’ve put together this video recap of Paws and Give Thanks Day, which includes a special message from President Wu. Below are just a few of the personal thank-you messages from the Baruch community.
I am so grateful for your donations and scholarship which helped me to stay in school. There were some moments that I wanted to give up or defer a semester, but your generous donations kept me going. Your contribution helps some of us stay in school, learn, flourish and continue to add to the community we have. I am beyond grateful! Thank you for your generosity. THANK YOU!
They said that education is the great equalizer, no matter from where you are. But the road to education is heavily influenced by who you are and where you are from, so many do not get the good fortune to get a great education. You, our Baruch Donors, have made it possible for me and countless others like me to travel that distance, and in some cases helping students to cross the Atlantic. Thank you for your generosity and more importantly your commitment to make education accessible to everyone regardless of their nationality, gender and race.
Baruch is the microcosm of New York City, a microcosm that you helped build. Your contributions inspire students like me and others to become donors in the future and continue the legacy you have built and inherited from the ones who came before you. Thank You!
Thank you for investing in my future. Your generosity made it possible for me to have an incredible experience at Baruch. Your support of the Baruch community has made a real difference to my success. Thank you for supporting our great college. Your contribution to this institution allowed me to have an amazing experience and become a proud member of the Baruch family.
Upon completion of my degree, I was able to gain a diverse knowledge in finance and accounting. From your donation, I was able to complete my master’s degree and land a role with one of the big four accounting firms. Thank you again for your contribution and support in helping me with my next steps.
“Thank You” is not enough to say to the donors for the scholarships they provide. These scholarships are beneficial in helping to complete our degrees and pursue our goals.
The current students have gone through a lot with the pandemic. It has taken a lot of work to stick with it and pursue our degrees. These scholarships make it much easier on us and provides us a chance to continue our education. They allow us to be a full-time student while being interns that will help advance our career.
On our graduation days, we will all be happy and be grateful in the role the donors provided to achieve it.
I am grateful to Baruch donors because they have supported me through a rough time in my life over the past few months. I was in fear of dropping out to help support my family and Baruch donors helped make sure I stayed on track, as I am one semester away from graduation. Thank you and Baruch is lucky to have you helping their students out.
Thank You to all the donors that donated to Baruch. I am very thankful for your generous donation and support.
I am grateful to Baruch donors both as a graduate student and as a mentee of the Executives on Campus program. The program has been an invaluable experience, giving me opportunities to develop as a professional as well as have an incredible and insightful year-long mentor. I also give thanks for the scholarship I received this year, which made it possible for me to focus on school full-time. Thank you!

Baruch donors provide many opportunities like the Financial Leadership Program, Tools for Clear Speech Program, Executives on Campus, the Washington Semester, Max Berger Pre-Law Program, and the new Bearcat Pantry.
Alumni gifts directly impact Baruch's national ranking. The higher the participation rate, the higher the ranking. Donor participation strengthens your Baruch experience and adds value to your degree.
We hope our students’ passion, excitement, and genuine appreciation show you the impact of your giving at Baruch and help you feel pride in the College every day.
Thank you for your continued investment in Baruch. We look forward to all that we will accomplish in the years ahead.
